maybe one day. *sigh* until then, i will regularly visit them online and imagine all the fashionable times that will never be.

Design Love

i love good design and new products - i'm a sucker for fad ideas (remember those tiny toothbrushes with the 'toothpaste gel'? got them the day they came out) and if it's in an attractive package, i'm even more likely to buy it.

one of my favourite blogs is The Dieline, a packaging and design site which i could look at for hours. this is where i came across these beautiful candles by Lollia, called 'poetic' candles. oh my god, these are just the most gorgeous things in the world! and the names are gorgeous - 'running in grass barefoot', 'sunspots on a photograph' and 'stacks of pretty paper'. i'd like them all please!
